Aquata and Robin

Robin sat on his bed gazing out the window. He had been sitting there for most of the last few weeks, only leaving to find food and trouble. He went dancing with Tiger Lily before she left and that helped straighten out his thoughts for a while but now she’s gone back home and he was back to staring out the window. He wished things were different. He wished he could change so many things in his life but wishing never got him any place. He knew wishing was pointless and before now it never bothered him. Before now his wishes were simple and easy to push aside.
He took a deep breath. He needed a distraction, anything to get his mind back to what it used to be. He obviously wouldn’t find that here in his room so he lazily got up and stretched his muscles. He needed action and movement. He’d been sitting still for too long. He grabbed his hoodie off the back of his desk chair and threw it on as he slid into his shoes. He left the hood up as he left the room. He didn’t bother locking it. If someone really wanted in his room they would find a way and it’s not like they would be able to find anything of value there anyway.
Robin made his way down the senior hallway to the stairs. Disney prep was unusually quiet but he didn’t care. He slid down the railing of the stairwell, trying to speed up his escape from this prison of a school. His muscles were still tense from lack of use. He agilely launched himself off the railing and walked straight for the door. His mind was so focused on that one thing, escape, that he didn’t realize that there was someone in the room until she called his name. He knew that voice immediately. The one person at DP who tried to get him to stop being a criminal but wasn’t afraid of him.
He slowly turned back around and gave her a smirk. It was a shame. He actually was planning on going to do something criminal for a change. I guess that can wait. “Well hello there. Long time no see.” He walked back over to where she was. “Just out of curiosity, did that dress work the way you wanted it to?” He gave her a devilish smile.
Finally back from another one of her father forced pageants, Aquata welcomed her new home with open arms. When she started at this new school she really hated it. The people were nothing of her stature and almost everyone was just horrid, this all changed. It changed when she changed, yes Aquata was changing. The young girl was changing on her own, for the first time in what felt like forever. With daddy off in Washington, and almost all of her sisters off doing their own thing; Aquata really wanted to make the best of what she had left at Disney Prep.
The time she was away she never paid much attention to what was going on back at school. Upon arrival she noticed that Tiger Lily was gone, this wasn’t a surprise. Aquata knew how much she missed her family, this was for the best though. Aquata was a strong believer of doing what is best for you, and when your best friend misses their family it really is the best that they go home. Now that the halls were becoming familiar once again, the brown haired girl noticed there were far too many new students. Walking through the common room she saw a group move through another set of doors. It wasnt lady like to chase after then, so instead of making a fool she just fell back. With a change of direction she saw someone she knew, Robin Hood. Smiling growing on her face, from cheek to cheek, Aquata raised up on her tippy toes and waved, yelling his name.
As she got his attention Aquata quickly ran over to him, with her arms out. The boy always seemed so serious, always. Wrapping her arms around her neck she gave him a big hug, pulling away without hesitation. “Of course it has been long time no see Robin.” Aquata continued with the smile on her face. Hair falling over her shoulders she shook her head a bit so the hair fell in a different position. “I have been gone!” Hearing him talk about their last time together Aquata couldn’t help but pick up on his smirk. “Well Robin as a matter of fact i never got to show off that dress!” This was true, the dress Aquata bought for Jack never left the closet after she bought it. This wasn’t a problem though, Aquata had a use for every item of clothing. Nodding her head she gave another toothy grin. “What about you, did your girlfriend like the dress?”
